GPTEC is partnering with the National Council of Mental to offer Mental Health First Aid to interested community members this Friday, March 31 from 8:00am to 5:00pm at the Oyate Community Center at Lakota Homes in Rapid City, SD.
The training is designed to arm individuals with the skills and information to respond to people who may be experiencing a mental health or substance abuse crisis.
This course is valued at $175/person, but due to the generosity of the Great Plains Area Indian Health Service and the Great Plains Tribal Chairmen’s Health Board, it is offered for only the cost of the associated textbook ($20/person).
